4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh spinach leaves

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)

Season the Chicken: Start by seasoning both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

    Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

      Sauté Garlic and Vegetables: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Toss in the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they soften. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.

        Make the Creamy Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Allow the sauce to thicken slightly for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.

          Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over them. Let them simmer together for another 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
