Ingredients

For the Cream Cheese Layer:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup whipped topping

For the Chocolate Pudding Layer:

2 cups whole milk

1 package (3.9 oz) chocolate instant pudding mix

For the Caramel Layer:

1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)

For the Cookie Layer:

20-25 Oreo cookies, crushed (or your favorite chocolate cookie)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Final Layer:

Additional whipped topping for garnish

1/4 cup crushed pecans (or walnuts) for garnish

2 tbsp chocolate syrup for drizzling

2 tbsp caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

Prepare the Cookie Layer:

In a bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until all the crumbs are moistened. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish to form a firm crust. Place in the refrigerator to set while you prepare the other layers.

      Make the Cream Cheese Layer:

In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Carefully fold in the whipped topping until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled cookie crust.

          Prepare the Chocolate Pudding Layer:

In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole milk and chocolate pudding mix for about 2 minutes until it thickens. Carefully spread this pudding over the cream cheese layer, smoothing it out with a spatula.

              Create the Caramel Layer:

Drizzle the caramel sauce over the chocolate pudding layer, then sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the caramel.

                  Finish with Toppings:

Spread a layer of whipped topping over the caramel and pecans. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to let the layers set properly.

                      Serve:

Before serving, drizzle additional caramel and chocolate syrup on top of the whipped topping. Sprinkle with crushed pecans for an added crunch.
