  • 2.0 large apples
  • 1.0 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1.0 teaspoon sugar
  • 1.0 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.1 pinch salt
  • 1.0 spray cooking spray

Instructions

  • Prep the Apples: Start by washing and drying the apples. Core them and slice them into thin rings using a sharp knife or a mandoline for uniformity.
  • Toss in Flavor: In a large bowl, combine the apple slices with lemon juice, ensuring each slice is well-coated.
  • Season: In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Sprinkle this mixture over the apple slices, tossing gently to ensure all slices are coated evenly.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the Slices: Lay the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Air Fry: Cook the apple slices at 300°F (150°C) for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Check for Crispiness: After 15 minutes, check the crispness of the apple slices, continue cooking in 2-minute increments if needed.
  • Cool and Serve: Once done, remove the apple crisps from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack.
  • Storage: Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.

Notes

For extra crispiness, reheat in the air fryer before serving.
