4 medium russet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix (store-bought or homemade)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

Freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)

Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Prep the Potatoes: Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt. Cut each potato in half lengthwise, and then slice each half into wedges (approximately 6-8 wedges per potato).

    Soak the Wedges: For an extra crispy texture, soak the potato wedges in cold water for about 30 minutes. This helps to remove excess starch. After soaking, drain and pat dry with paper towels.

      Season the Wedges: In a large mixing bowl, combine the potato wedges with the olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until all wedges are evenly coated.

        Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

          Air Fry the Wedges: Place the seasoned potato wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap (you may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer). Cook at 400°F (200°C) for about 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

            Serve: Once done, remove the wedges from the air fryer. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, like ranch dressing or ketchup.
