1 baguette, sliced into ½ inch pieces

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

½ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

8 oz cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

Salt and pepper, to taste

Olive oil, for brushing

Optional: Cracked black pepper or red pepper flakes for garnish

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare Baguette Slices: Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil.

      Toast: Bake the baguette slices in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden and crispy. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.

        Mix Cream Cheese: In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and honey. Mix until smooth and creamy. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

          Combine Strawberries and Basil: In another bowl, gently toss the sliced strawberries with the chopped basil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to enhance the flavors.
