Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 lb sirloin steak, sliced thinly

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

3 tbsp olive oil, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup chicken broth

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water.

Season the Shrimp and Steak: In a bowl, toss the shrimp and steak slices with the Cajun seasoning until well coated.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak slices and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the shrimp, cooking until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside with the steak.

Create the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and reduce heat to medium. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Then, add the chicken broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth. Let simmer for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked fettuccine, seared steak, and shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat everything evenly with the alfredo sauce. If it’s too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.

Season & Serve: Taste and season with additional salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Top with chopped parsley for garnish before serving.
