1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup soft caramel candies, chopped into small pieces

Flaky sea salt (for topping, optional)

Preheat Your Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.

    Cream the Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy and well combined.
