Ingredients

8 oz Italian sausage, crumbled

4 oz salami, thinly sliced

4 oz prosciutto, chopped

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup olives (green and black), pitted and sliced

½ cup red onion, diced

½ cup roasted red peppers, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or ½ tsp dried thyme)

1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped (or ½ tsp dried rosemary)

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

8 oz French bread or baguette, sliced

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the crumbled Italian sausage. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, black pepper, salt, thyme, and rosemary. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Layer the Ingredients: In a large greased baking dish (about 9x13 inches), start by laying down the slices of French bread or baguette to cover the bottom. Drizzle with olive oil.

Add the Meat: Evenly distribute the crumbled sausage, chopped prosciutto, and sliced salami over the bread.

Add the Cheese Mixture: Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the meats, spreading it out evenly.

Top with Vegetables: Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes, sliced olives, diced red onion, and roasted red peppers over the top of the casserole.

Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the entire dish, ensuring an even coverage.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, let the casserole cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
