For the Chicken Filling:

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup chili (homemade or canned)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup diced red onion

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Pizza Rolls:

1 package (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

For the Dipping Sauce:

½ cup marinara sauce

1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C), and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Prepare the Chicken Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, chili, mozzarella cheese, diced red onion, garlic powder, cumin, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.

      Prepare the Pizza Dough: Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle. Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into squares, roughly 4x4 inches.

        Assemble the Rolls: Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken filling on the center of each dough square. Top each filling portion with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pinching and sealing them tightly to create rolls.

          Brush and Season: Arrange the rolls on the prepared baking sheet with the seam facing down. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle Italian seasoning and crushed red pepper flakes over them for added flavor.

            Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.
