Ingredients
  

  • 16.0 oz refrigerated pizza dough
  • 4.0 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4.0 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.0 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1.0 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1.0 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2.0 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • None to taste salt
  • None to taste pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the refrigerated pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 0.25 inch thick.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, dried Italian herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper together.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the dough rectangle, making sure to cover the entire surface. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered dough.
  • Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide. Take each strip and tie it into a knot; place the knots on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Once all knots are formed and placed on the baking sheet, use any leftover garlic butter to brush over the top of each knot for extra flavor and richness.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the knots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping if desired.
