To achieve the ideal level of crispness for your bacon, start by selecting high-quality bacon with a good balance of meat and fat. For those who prefer turkey bacon or vegetarian options, there are excellent alternatives that can still provide that satisfying crunch. When cooking bacon, aim for low to medium heat, allowing the fat to render slowly. This process ensures that the bacon cooks evenly, resulting in a crispy texture without the risk of burning.

Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

4 slices of crispy bacon, chopped

½ cup ranch dressing

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 large flour tortillas (or whole wheat)

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: ¼ cup sliced green onions and avocado for topping

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated.

Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on a paper towel to absorb excess grease.

Assemble the Wraps: Lay out a flour tortilla on a clean surface or cutting board. In the center of the tortilla, layer ¼ of the ranch-flavored chicken mixture, followed by a sprinkle of chopped bacon, a handful of shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.

Wrap It Up: Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it from the bottom upward, ensuring the filling is tightly packed inside. Repeat the process for the remaining tortillas.

Toast the Wraps (Optional): For an extra crunch, heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam-side down and toast each side for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Serve: Cut the wraps in half diagonally and serve immediately. Top with sliced green onions and avocado if desired, accompanied by extra ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
