Ingredients

4 ripe bananas

1 cup dark chocolate chips (or semi-sweet, if preferred)

2 tablespoons coconut oil

1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or hazelnuts)

1/2 cup sprinkles (optional)

Wooden popsicle sticks

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and slice them in half crosswise. Insert a wooden popsicle stick into each half to create a handle.

Freeze: Place the banana pops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are not touching each other. Freeze for about 2 hours, or until solid.

Melt Chocolate: In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.

Coat the Banana Pops: Remove the frozen bananas from the freezer. Dip each banana pop into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.

Add Toppings: Before the chocolate sets, immediately roll or sprinkle the coated bananas in chopped nuts or sprinkles according to your preference.

Finalize: Place the decorated banana pops back on the lined baking sheet. Once coated, return them to the freezer for about 30 minutes to set.

Serve: Enjoy your Choco-Banana Bliss Pops straight from the freezer! They can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week.
