For the crust:

1 ½ cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Pinch of salt

For the peanut butter layer:

1 cup creamy peanut butter

½ cup powdered sugar

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the chocolate layer:

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup heavy whipping cream

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

For the topping:

1 cup whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)

Chopped peanuts (for garnish)

Chocolate shavings or drizzle (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until set. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

Make the Peanut Butter Layer: In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter and powdered sugar. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until smooth and well combined. Pour this mixture into the cooled pie crust and spread evenly. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.

Prepare the Chocolate Layer: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the chocolate chips, heavy whipping cream, and butter. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Assemble: Carefully pour the chocolate mixture over the chilled peanut butter layer in the pie crust, spreading it evenly. Return the pie to the refrigerator and chill for an additional 2-3 hours, or until the chocolate layer has set.

Garnish and Serve: Once set, top the pie with whipped cream, and sprinkle with chopped peanuts and chocolate shavings or drizzle. Slice and serve chilled.
