Ingredients

1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

¼ cup olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

¼ cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help achieve that crunchy, crispy texture we’re after.

Prepare the Brussels Sprouts: In a large mixing bowl, combine the trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until the Brussels are well coated in the seasoning.

Add Parmesan: Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the seasoned Brussels and toss again until the cheese is evenly distributed. The cheese will melt and create a crispy layer during roasting.

Arrange on a Baking Sheet: Spread the coated Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Ensure they are not overlapping to allow for even crispiness.

Roast: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the Brussels are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Garnish and Serve: Once roasted, remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with fresh parsley and lemon zest for a bright finish. Serve while hot as a delightful side dish or a tasty snack.
