Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 cup crispy bacon bits (cooked and crumbled)

1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled, adjust to taste)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Vegetable oil for frying

Fresh cilantro or chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crispy bacon bits, sliced jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.

Assemble the Wraps: Lay out a tortilla on a clean surface. Spread a generous 1/4 cup of the filling mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving about an inch of space at the edges. Roll the tortilla tightly, tucking in the sides as you go to seal the filling inside. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.

Coat the Wraps: Place the panko breadcrumbs in a shallow dish. Roll each wrapped tortilla in the breadcrumbs, making sure to coat all sides evenly for that perfect crunch.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, add enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom of the pan (about 1/2 inch deep) and heat over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

Fry the Wraps: Carefully place the wraps seam-side down in the hot oil, working in batches if necessary. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.

Drain and Serve: Once fried, transfer the crunchy wraps to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil. Let them cool slightly before slicing them into bite-sized pieces.

Garnish: If desired, garnish with chopped cilantro or chives before serving. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces, such as ranch dressing or spicy marinara.
