Ingredients

1 pound large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

Juice of 1 lime

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Shrimp: In a large bowl, place the peeled and deveined shrimp.

Make the Seasoning: In a small bowl, mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, black pepper, and salt until well combined.

Season the Shrimp: Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the shrimp. Drizzle the olive oil and lime juice on top. Toss until all the shrimp are evenly coated in the seasoning blend.

Heat the Pan: Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Allow it to get hot (approximately 2-3 minutes).

Cook the Shrimp: Add the seasoned shrimp to the hot skillet in a single layer (you may need to do this in batches to avoid overcrowding). Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side without moving them, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until shrimp are pink and opaque.

Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with chopped cilantro, and serve immediately. Enjoy as an appetizer, in tacos, or over rice!
