Ingredients

2 ripe mangoes, diced

1 medium red onion, finely chopped

1 bell pepper (preferably red or yellow), diced

1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (adjust for spice)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 2 limes

Salt, to taste

1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)

1 avocado, diced (optional for creaminess)

Instructions

Start by preparing all your fresh ingredients. Dice the ripe mangoes into small cubes, ensuring they are sweet and juicy.

Finely chop the red onion and bell pepper, then place them in a large mixing bowl with the diced mango.

If you enjoy a bit of heat, mince the jalapeño and add it to the bowl. Remember to adjust the amount based on your spice preference.

Chop the fresh cilantro and sprinkle it over the mixture. The herb will add a refreshing flavor to the salsa.

Squeeze the juice of the limes over the entire mixture. This will not only add acidity but also help to keep the colors vibrant.

Add salt to taste and, if desired, sprinkle in the cumin for an additional layer of flavor. Stir gently to combine all ingredients without mashing the mango.

If you're including the avocado, add it last to avoid it getting mushy, and fold it gently into the salsa.

Let the salsa sit for at least 15-30 minutes at room temperature to allow the flavors to meld. Alternatively, you can refrigerate it if you prefer it chilled.

Serve your Tropical Paradise Mango Salsa with tortilla chips, grilled fish, tacos, or even as a topping for your favorite salad.
