Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup almond butter (or any nut/seed butter of your choice)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

A pinch of salt

Optional: 1/4 cup chocolate chips or dried fruits (raisins, cranberries, etc.)

Optional: 1/4 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, etc.)

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas using a fork or potato masher until smooth.

Combine Ingredients: Add the rolled oats, almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt to the mashed bananas. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined. If you are using any chocolate chips, dried fruits, or nuts, fold them into the mixture now.

Shape the Bites: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a tablespoon, scoop out the mixture and roll it into balls, placing each ball onto the prepared baking sheet. You can make them as small or as large as you prefer.

Freeze: Once all the bites are shaped, place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 1-2 hours, or until the bites are completely frozen.

Store: After freezing, transfer the snack bites to an airtight container or a zip-top bag. Store them in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Enjoy: Grab a few when you're looking for a quick snack or a post-workout treat! Simply take them out of the freezer and let them sit for a few minutes for easier munching.
