Ingredients

3 ripe bananas

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother chocolate)

1/2 cup crushed nuts (like almonds or hazelnuts, optional)

1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Popsicle sticks or wooden skewers

A pinch of sea salt (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Insert either a popsicle stick or wooden skewer into the cut end of each banana half. Place the bananas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.

Dip the Bananas: Once melted, dip each banana half into the chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing the banana back onto the baking sheet.

Add Toppings: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle crushed nuts or shredded coconut on top of the chocolate-coated bananas, if desired. For an extra touch, sprinkle a tiny pinch of sea salt for contrast and flavor.

Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze the banana pops for at least 2 hours, or until the chocolate is solid.

Serve and Enjoy: Once frozen, take them out of the freezer, let them sit for a minute at room temperature to soften slightly, and enjoy your delicious Chocolate-Covered Banana Bliss Pops!
