Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

2 cups rolled oats

1 cup puffed rice cereal

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Instructions

Prepare Your Workspace: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking. If you have silicone molds shaped like circles, these can be used as well.

Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup). Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Add Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the rolled oats, puffed rice cereal, miniature chocolate chips (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the peanut butter mixture. Stir until everything is evenly coated and mixed.

Shape the Circles: Take a tablespoon of the mixture in your hands and shape it into a circle, making sure to create a hole in the middle to resemble a doughnut. Repeat this process with the remaining mixture and place each circle on the prepared baking sheet or silicone molds.

Freeze: Once all the circles are shaped, place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours, or until the circles are solid.

Store or Serve: Once frozen, you can enjoy these immediately or transfer them to an airtight container for storage. They can be kept in the freezer for up to 3 months.

Enjoy: Serve them straight from the freezer for a delightful and healthy snack that you can eat on the go!
