Ingredients

2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled and halved

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)

¼ cup chia seeds

½ cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)

A pinch of salt

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Blend Strawberries:

In a blender, combine the strawberries, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth, leaving some small chunks for texture if desired.

      Mix Yogurt and Chia Seeds:

In a medium-sized bowl, add the Greek yogurt, chia seeds, almond milk, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until everything is combined and the chia seeds are evenly distributed.

          Layer the Mixture:

In a square or rectangular baking dish (about 8x8 inches), pour half of the strawberry mixture evenly at the bottom. Next, spread the yogurt and chia seed mixture over this layer.

              Top it Off:

Pour the remaining strawberry blend over the yogurt layer, ensuring it covers the entire surface. Use a spatula to gently swirl the layers together for aesthetic appeal.

                  Freeze:

Place the baking dish in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours or until completely firm. You can cover it with plastic wrap after 1 hour to prevent frost from forming on the surface.

                      Cut and Serve:

Once the squares are frozen solid, remove the dish from the freezer. Let it sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes for easier cutting. Use a sharp knife to slice the frozen mixture into squares.

                          Garnish and Enjoy:

Serve the squares immediately, garnishing each piece with fresh mint leaves if desired. Enjoy your refreshing and healthy treat!
