Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup chia seeds

1 cup granola (your choice, for added crunch)

1/2 cup fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)

A pinch of salt

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Mix: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth and well blended.

Incorporate Chia Seeds: Add the chia seeds to the yogurt mixture. Stir well to evenly distribute the seeds. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes, allowing the chia seeds to absorb some moisture and expand.

Add Crunch: Gently fold in the granola, fresh berries, and chopped nuts into the yogurt mixture. Be careful to mix thoroughly without breaking the berries.

Line the Pan: Line a square baking pan (about 8x8 inches) with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easier removal later.

Pour and Spread: Pour the yogurt mixture into the prepared pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly and smooth the top.

Freeze: Place the pan in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until solid.

Cut Into Bars: Once solid, remove the pan from the freezer and lift out the contents using the overhanging parchment paper. Place it on a cutting board and cut into bars or squares of your desired size.

Serve: Enjoy immediately or keep the bars stored in a sealed container in the freezer. Let them sit for a couple of minutes out of the freezer to soften slightly before serving.
