Ingredients

4 ears of fresh corn, husked and cleaned

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Extra parmesan for serving

Instructions

Preheat your grill or oven: If grilling, preheat to medium-high heat. If using the oven, preheat to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the corn: Husk the corn and remove all silk. Rinse briefly under cold water and pat dry.

Make the garlic butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until well blended.

Coat the corn: Brush the garlic butter evenly over each ear of corn, making sure to get some between the kernels.

          Grill or bake the corn:

            - Grilling: Place the corn directly on the grill grates. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning often, until the corn is tender and slightly charred.

              - Oven baking: Lay the corn in a baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 25-30 minutes. Remove the foil for the last 5-10 minutes to allow it to brown slightly.

Add the cheese: Once cooked, remove the corn from the heat and immediately sprinkle the hot corn with the freshly grated Parmesan cheese. The heat will melt the cheese slightly, allowing it to cling to the corn.

Serve: Drizzle any leftover garlic butter over the corn, garnish with chopped parsley, and add extra Parmesan on top if desired.

Enjoy: Serve warm and indulge in the delicious garlic and cheesy flavors in every bite!
