Ingredients

4 cups of water

4 black tea bags (preferably or any tea of your choice)

2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1/4 cup honey (adjust for sweetness)

Juice of 1 lemon

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Ginger Peach Infusion: In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the black tea bags, grated ginger, and peach slices. Let this mixture steep for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

Sweeten the Tea: After steeping, remove the tea bags and strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher, discarding the solids. While the tea is still warm, stir in the honey until fully dissolved.

Add Lemon Juice: Squeeze in the juice of one fresh lemon and mix well. This will add a refreshing tartness to balance the sweetness of the peaches and honey.

Chill the Tea: Allow the infused tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until completely chilled.

Serve: To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled Ginger Peach Iced Tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh peach slices and mint leaves if desired.

Enjoy: Stir the tea lightly before drinking to mix the flavors and enjoy the refreshing blend of ginger and peach!
