Ingredients

6 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

Salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

6 slider buns (mini brioche or regular slider buns)

6 slices of cheddar cheese

3 tablespoons butter

Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: hot sauce for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Whisk the Eggs: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined and slightly frothy.

Cook the Eggs: In a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it sit for a minute. Then, gently stir with a spatula, allowing the uncooked eggs to flow towards the heat. Continue to cook until the eggs are just set but still soft (about 3–4 minutes).

Assemble the Sliders: Split the slider buns in half. Arrange the bottom halves in a baking dish. Evenly distribute the cooked eggs over the bottom halves of the sliders. Place one slice of cheddar cheese on top of the eggs for each slider.

Add the Top Buns: Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese.

Butter the Sliders: In a small bowl, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and brush it over the tops of the slider buns for a rich, golden finish.

Bake the Sliders: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes, until the sliders are golden and the cheese is melted.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped chives, and serve with hot sauce on the side, if desired.
