Ingredients
  

2 medium zucchinis, sliced into ½-inch rounds

8 ounces halloumi cheese, sliced into ½-inch thick pieces

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Zucchini:

    - Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.

      - In a large bowl, combine the sliced zucchinis with olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until well-coated.

        Grill the Zucchini:

          - Place the zucchini slices on the grill and cook for about 3–4 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and have nice grill marks. Remove them from the grill and set aside.

            Grill the Halloumi:

              - Using the same grill, place the halloumi slices on the grill. Grill for about 2–3 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and slightly crispy. Watch them closely as they can burn quickly.

                Assemble the Stacks:

                  - On a serving plate, start stacking the grilled zucchini and halloumi. Begin with a slice of zucchini, then add a piece of halloumi, and repeat the process, finishing with a zucchini slice on top.

                    Garnish and Serve:

                      - Garnish the stacks with fresh basil leaves. For an extra touch of flavor, drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
