Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey for a lighter option)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 large egg, beaten

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

For the Honey Sriracha Glaze:

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)

Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix the Meatball Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, green onions, minced garlic, beaten egg, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Shape the Meatballs: Using your hands, form the mixture into bite-sized meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about an inch apart.

Bake the Meatballs: Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.

Prepare the Glaze: While the meatballs are baking, whisk together the honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for about 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat.

Glaze the Meatballs: Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and toss them in the honey Sriracha glaze until they are thoroughly coated.

Serve and Garnish: Transfer the glazed meatballs to a serving platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for a pop of color and flavor.

Enjoy: Serve immediately as an appetizer, or over rice or noodles for a delightful main course.
