4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prep the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This helps to get a nice sear. Season both sides generously with salt, black pepper, paprika, and oregano.

    Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Once the butter is sizzling, add the seasoned chicken breasts to the pan.

      Sear the Chicken: Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on one side, without moving it, until golden brown. Flip the chicken breasts and cook for another 6-7 minutes, until they are cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).

        Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet and let it rest on a plate. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, making sure not to burn the garlic.

          Combine and Serve: Add the lemon juice to the garlic butter sauce and stir to combine. Return the chicken breasts to the pan, spooning the sauce over each piece to coat. Cook for an additional minute in the sauce to soak up the flavors.
