Ingredients

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup mini marshmallows

3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional, walnuts or pecans work great)

Extra graham crackers, for serving

Extra marshmallows, for topping

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until the crumbs are well coated and resemble wet sand.

Layer Chocolate: Spread half of the graham cracker mixture evenly at the bottom of a cast-iron skillet or an oven-safe dish.

Add Chocolate and Nuts: Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the graham cracker base. If using, evenly distribute the chopped nuts over the chocolate chips.

Layer Marshmallows: Add a layer of mini marshmallows on top of the chocolate chips.

Add Remaining Crumbs: Sprinkle the remaining graham cracker mixture over the marshmallows for added texture.

Bake the Dip: Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the chocolate is melty and the marshmallows are golden brown.

Broil for Perfection: For an extra toasty finish, switch to broil and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.

Serve: Remove from oven and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with extra graham crackers for dipping. Optionally, top with some extra mini marshmallows for a decadent look.
