Ingredients

2 ripe bananas

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (or crunchy, if preferred)

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1/4 cup rolled oats

1/3 cup dark chocolate chips (optional, for drizzling)

A pinch of sea salt

Optional toppings: crushed nuts, coconut flakes, or chia seeds

Instructions

Prepare the Bananas: Peel the bananas and cut them into thick slices (about 1/2 inch wide). Set aside.

Make the Peanut Butter Mixture: In a medium bowl, mix peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and sea salt until well combined.

Assemble the Bites: Dip each banana slice into the peanut butter mixture, ensuring they are fully coated. Place the coated slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Add Toppings: Sprinkle rolled oats over half of the banana slices. If you’re using additional toppings like crushed nuts or coconut flakes, sprinkle those on top as well.

Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 1 hour, or until the banana bites are completely firm.

Chocolate Drizzle (Optional): If desired, melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Once the banana bites are frozen, drizzle the melted chocolate over them using a fork or a piping bag.

Final Freeze: Return the bites to the freezer for an additional 15-30 minutes to harden the chocolate.

Serve: Remove from the freezer and enjoy immediately or store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
