2 cups cooked rotisserie chicken, shredded

1 cup fresh basil pesto

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, shredded or sliced

4 thick slices of sourdough bread

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded rotisserie chicken with the basil pesto. Stir until the chicken is well coated. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

      Toast the Bread: Lightly brush each slice of sourdough bread with olive oil on both sides. Place the slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown and slightly crispy.
