1 lb (450g) beef flank steak, thinly sliced

2 cups broccoli florets

1 bell pepper (red or yellow), sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece ginger, grated

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced beef, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well to coat the beef evenly. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.

    Heat the Pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over high heat until it shimmers.

      Cook the Beef: Add the marinated beef to the pan in a single layer. Allow it to sear for 2-3 minutes without stirring, until browned. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until fully cooked. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.

        Stir-Fry Veggies: In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, sliced bell pepper, and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.

          Combine Everything: Return the cooked beef to the pan with the veggies. Pour in the remaining tablespoon of soy sauce and the oyster sauce. Toss everything together over high heat for another 2 minutes, ensuring everything is well-coated and heated through.
