For the Beef Tacos:

1 lb ground beef (preferably lean)

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

8 small corn or flour tortillas

For the Fresh Avocado Salsa:

2 ripe avocados, diced

1 medium tomato, diced

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (adjust for heat)

Juice of 1 lime

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Salt to taste

Prepare the Beef Filling:

    - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

      - Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.

        - Increase the heat to medium-high, add the ground beef, and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula (about 6-7 minutes).

          - Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spices are well combined with the beef. Remove from the heat.

            Make the Avocado Salsa:

              - In a medium bowl, combine the diced avocados, tomato, red onion, jalapeño, lime juice, and chopped cilantro. Gently toss to mix. Season with salt to taste and set aside.

                Warm the Tortillas:

                  - In a dry skillet, quickly warm the tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable. Keep them warm in a kitchen towel or tortilla warmer.

                    Assemble the Tacos:

                      - To each tortilla, add a generous spoonful of the beef mixture followed by a scoop of fresh avocado salsa.

                        - Optionally, top with extra cilantro or a squeeze of lime for added flavor.

                          Serve:
