For the Chicken Tacos:

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

8 small corn or flour tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)

For the Avocado Lime Sauce:

1 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled

1/4 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream

Juice of 1 lime

1 clove garlic, minced

Salt, to taste

Water, as needed for consistency

Prepare the Avocado Lime Sauce:

    - In a blender or food processor, combine the avocado, Greek yogurt (or sour cream), lime juice, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt.

      - Blend until smooth, adding water a tablespoon at a time if the sauce is too thick. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Set aside.

        Cook the Chicken:

          - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil.

            - Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

              - Cook for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is diced and golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 75°C).

                Warm the Tortillas:

                  - While the chicken cooks, warm the tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat or in the microwave until soft and pliable.

                    Assemble the Tacos:

                      - For each tortilla, add a generous spoonful of the cooked chicken, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheese.

                        - Drizzle with avocado lime sauce and sprinkle with fresh cilantro if desired.

                          Serve:
