2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon cumin

Juice and zest of 1 lime

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 flatbreads (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 avocado, sliced

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions
 

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, lime juice, and lime zest. Season with salt and pepper. Add chicken breasts and ensure they are well coated in the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge for deeper flavor).

    Cook the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and no longer pink in the center (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C). Remove from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
