Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 cups broccoli florets

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish

Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set this mixture aside.

Cook the Broccoli: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the broccoli florets and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they are pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook.

Combine: Return the broccoli to the skillet with the shrimp. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and broccoli, stirring to coat everything evenly. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.

Finish: Drizzle sesame oil over the mixture for extra flavor. Stir to combine.

Serve: Remove the skillet from heat and transfer the shrimp and broccoli to a serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
