For the Shrimp Skewers:

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon lime juice

Salt and pepper to taste

8 skewers (wooden or metal, soaked in water if wooden)

For the Mango Salsa:

1 ripe mango, diced

1/2 red onion, finely chopped

1 jalapeño, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)

1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime

Salt to taste

Marinate the Shrimp:

    In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, ground cumin, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp and toss until well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

      Prepare the Mango Salsa:

        In a separate bowl, mix together the diced mango, red onion, jalapeño, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Stir gently to combine, then set aside to allow the flavors to meld.
