2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 French baguette or Italian ciabatta, sliced

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

    Cook the Chicken: Once the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
