4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

1/4 cup unsalted butter, divided

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

Zest of 1 lemon

Juice of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon dried thyme (or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme)

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

    Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat until shimmering.

      Sear the Chicken: Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet. Sear for about 5-7 minutes, until the skin is golden brown and crispy. Flip and sear the other side for an additional 5 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
