Ingredients

For the Wings:

2 lbs chicken wings

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

For the Spicy Mango Drizzle:

1 ripe mango, peeled and diced

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon cilantro, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Chicken Wings:

Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine the wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight in the fridge for maximum flavor).

      Make the Spicy Mango Drizzle:

In a blender, combine the diced mango, honey, soy sauce, lime juice, grated ginger, and red chili flakes. Blend until smooth and well combined. Adjust the seasoning by adding more honey for sweetness or red chili flakes for heat, depending on your preference.

          Cook the Wings:

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top (this helps the wings cook evenly and become crispy). Arrange the marinated wings in a single layer on the rack. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.

              Glaze the Wings:

Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and toss them in the spicy mango drizzle until they are well coated. For an extra touch, you can return them to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes to caramelize the glaze.

                  Serve:

Arrange the wings on a serving platter, drizzling any remaining mango sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side for a zesty kick!
