Spicy Tuna Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients
  

1 can (5 oz) tuna in water, drained

2 tbsp mayonnaise (preferably Japanese Kewpie mayo)

1 tbsp Sriracha (adjust for spice level)

1 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp sesame oil

1 green onion, finely chopped

1 small cucumber, finely diced

1 ripe avocado, diced

1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

1 head of butter lettuce or romaine, leaves separated

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions
 

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well until the tuna is evenly coated and the ingredients are well blended. Adjust the amount of Sriracha based on your heat preference.

    Add the chopped green onion, diced cucumber, avocado, and cilantro to the bowl. Gently fold the ingredients together until well combined.

      Prepare the lettuce leaves by rinsing them under cold water and patting them dry with a paper towel. Choose larger leaves for better wrapping.

        To assemble, take one lettuce leaf and scoop a generous amount of the spicy tuna mixture into the center.

          Fold the sides of the lettuce over the filling, then roll it up firmly, leaving the ends open.

            Repeat the process with the remaining lettuce leaves and filling.

              Serve the wraps on a platter, garnished with sesame seeds, and alongside lime wedges for squeezing over the top before eating.
