Ingredients

1 cup natural peanut butter (smooth or crunchy, as per preference)

1 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (or dark chocolate, chopped)

1/2 cup maple syrup (or agave syrup)

1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Optional toppings: crushed peanuts, sea salt, or vegan chocolate shavings

Instructions

Prepare the Pan: Line an 8x8-inch (or similar-sized) baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later. This will ensure your fudge comes out effortlessly once set.

Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the dairy-free chocolate chips and melted coconut oil. Stir continuously until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Mix in the Peanut Butter: In a large mixing bowl, combine the natural peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed. You can use a hand mixer for a smoother consistency if preferred.

Combine Mixtures: Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the peanut butter mixture. Add a pinch of salt and stir well until everything is fully combined and the mixture is smooth and glossy.

Pour into the Pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly, smoothing the top.

Add Toppings: If desired, sprinkle crushed peanuts or a pinch of sea salt on top for added flavor and texture.

Chill to Set: Place the baking dish in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm enough to cut.

Slice and Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment paper overhang. Transfer to a cutting board and slice into squares or rectangles.

Store: Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, or freeze for longer storage.
