Ingredients

4 cups of seedless watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 cup of crumbled feta cheese

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, torn into smaller pieces

2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil (optional)

Wooden skewers or toothpicks

Instructions

Prepare the Watermelon: Start by cutting your watermelon into 1-inch cubes. Ensure the cubes are uniform for even presentation.

Assemble the Bites: On each wooden skewer or toothpick, thread a piece of watermelon, followed by a torn basil leaf and a small amount of crumbled feta cheese. Repeat the sequence until the skewer is filled (2-3 of each ingredient per skewer is ideal).

Drizzle: Once your skewers are assembled, place them on a serving platter. Drizzle balsamic glaze evenly over the skewers to add flavor and a beautiful finish.

Season: Lightly sprinkle freshly cracked black pepper over the assembled bites to enhance flavors. If desired, you can also drizzle a little extra virgin olive oil over the top.

Chill or Serve: You can serve these refreshing bites immediately or refrigerate for about 30 minutes before serving for an extra refreshing taste.
